- Annual Board Meeting:
Fields of View organised the annual board meeting on 2nd of February, 2013. Board Members, Members of the Society and Employees attended the meeting.

Registration under Section 12A and 80G: Fields of View received its certificate under Section 12A of Income Tax Act, 1961 on 31st of December, 2012 and registered for clearance under Section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961.

UNAOC: CREATE is a global competition co-organised by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, the Learning Games Network, and the MIT Education Arcade in search of mobile apps and games that can enable new avenues for intercultural dialogue. Fields of View is a domain partner to this initiative to provide the expertise in dialogue and engagement.

The Goa Project is a melting pot that harnesses the collective creativity of people from different walks of life. On March 28th and 29th, 350 delegates will come together in an 'unconference', where diverse personalities will discuss and debate various crowd-sourced topics, in order to solve problems, build relationships, and give life to new collaborations. We organised a game session of Indian Energy Game with IAS officers at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore on 4th of February, 2013.

Vardhan Varma and Bhagyalakshmi Srinivas joined the team in the month of January, 2013.

Akhil Sukumaran, Anuj N K, Kunal Vinayakiya, and Nandhakumar S from MSRIT joined the team as interns in the month of February, 2013. They are working on optimising garbage network in Bangalore.

Sunil Thulasidasan from Los Almos National Laboratory joined the team as a visiting researcher in the month of January. He will be working on developing models for large scale simulations in the area of Urban Systems for a duration of three months.

Information standards for disaster management

In this project we propose to use a multi-agent system to aid decision makers by deriving standards for geo-spatial interoperability to allow them to respond to the disasters effectively.
We are currently working with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India for this project.

Unforget

The goal of the project is to build a platform that documents the response of our systems to crimes against women. The platform does not focus on either the survivor or the criminal.
We have developed the prototype for such system. We seek partners to use the platform, curate data and guide necessary changes.

FPS for safety training

We submitted a proposal to Bangalore International Airport Limited to develop virtual games for safety training.
The proposal aims at developing a virtual game to help train the personnel in safety procedures and to assess their continuous learning.
